BEFORE – A ‘salt box’ Cape Cod home with no protection for the front door or exterior. While the original home features a historic architectural style, it lacked head-turning curb appeal. It was time for dimensionality to meet functionality.
AFTER – Georgia Front Porch designed and built a 38’ x 8’ deep porch that fully extends the length of the house. The roof features a center gable shape with a shed style on either side. Six tapered, low-maintenance composite columns rest on stone piers and a pony wall. The interior ceiling is beadboard and includes mounted ceiling fans. Neighbors may have ignored this home before, but are doing double-takes now. And, the homeowners are loving the expansive front porch with stone piers perfect for relaxed, rocking chair conversations with family and friends!
