Half Porch with Wood Flooring and Shed Roof in Roswell
BEFORE – This two-story brick traditional featured a shed-style portico that needed updating. The homeowners also wanted a larger space to relax and create a warmer curb appeal. It was time to do a fresh take on a traditional exterior.
AFTER – After the house was newly painted white, the Georgia Front Porch team designed and built a handsome half porch to create inviting curb appeal. Details included pressure-treated plank floors parallel to the house, 88” long and 8” square cedar-wrapped columns. The railing is black by Fortress. The ceiling is a flat tongue and groove cedar with recessed lights. The shed-style roof is made of standing seam metal, burnished with a slate color.
