If rain, pollen or changing weather keeps you from enjoying a screened porch, an Eze-Breeze conversion may provide more protection while preserving the option for fresh air. The next question is usually what the finished project will cost.

At Atlanta Decking & Fence, we help homeowners decide whether Eze-Breeze fits the way they want to use the porch, design the enclosure around the home and install the complete system. Because every porch is different, a useful estimate reflects the openings, framing, panel layout, preparation and installation the project needs. It cannot be reduced to a standard panel price or a general comparison with screens.

What we consider when designing an Eze-Breeze porch

We begin with the homeowner and the porch. What limits the space today? Does rain blow in? Is pollen difficult to manage? Would adjustable vinyl panels make the porch more useful as conditions change? Those answers help us determine whether Eze-Breeze is a good fit before we develop the design.

1. Porch openings and panel layout

The overall porch size matters, but the individual openings often shape the enclosure more directly. Two porches with similar floor areas may require different numbers of panels and different layouts. We measure the actual openings and design the system around the porch instead of applying a standard package.

2. Existing framing and preparation

An existing screened porch may need preparation before Eze-Breeze panels can be installed. In one Marietta screened-porch conversion, Atlanta Decking removed the original screens and added exterior cedar framing to support the new panels. The example shows why a complete estimate covers both the enclosure and any surrounding construction the porch requires.

During design, we identify what can remain, what needs to change and how the new work will connect with the existing porch. This gives the homeowner a clearer picture of the complete project before installation begins.

3. Panel layout and design choices

Panel layout affects how the enclosure fits the openings, operates and looks from inside and outside the porch. We explain the available choices for the specific project and show how each selection affects the design and installation scope.

4. Standalone conversion or broader porch project

Atlanta Decking accepts standalone conversions of existing screened back porches. Eze-Breeze may also be considered within a larger porch project. A standalone conversion focuses on the existing structure and the work needed to adapt it; a broader project may include additional framing, flooring, roofing or finish work. Those are different scopes and should be estimated separately.

5. Site access and requested work

Access to the work area, the condition of the existing porch and any additional improvements requested by the homeowner can affect the project scope. We review those conditions during planning so the estimate reflects the actual property and the agreed work.

Five factors that shape an Eze-Breeze porch conversion estimate: openings, framing, panel layout, construction scope and site access.

How Eze-Breeze compares with screens and glass

A traditional screened porch prioritizes open airflow. Eze-Breeze adds adjustable vinyl panels that can be opened or closed to provide more flexibility when rain or pollen is a concern. A glass enclosure can involve a different room and construction scope. Eze-Breeze vinyl panels do not, by themselves, create a climate-controlled room.

Because those systems can involve different materials and construction, Atlanta Decking does not use a general Eze-Breeze-versus-screens price range. We compare the complete options for the homeowner’s porch and prepare a project-specific estimate.

What an Atlanta Decking estimate explains

Our goal is to make the proposed work easy to understand. We review the selected enclosure, the openings included, preparation and installation, and any door, framing or other construction in the project. We also explain exclusions and how additional work would be handled.

That complete scope is more useful than a generic online price because it reflects the design and construction needed for the porch.
