We talked to several companies on an estimate to replace an old deck. Atlanta Decking came in at a reasonable price and a nice, solid, good-looking design. Rod helped us maximize the space and add a pergola for a bit of shade. One whole side was to be a privacy fence, too.

Once we made the decision to hire ADF, we never regretted it. They showed up when they promised to, demolished the old deck and hauled it all away, and came back the next day and started building. The crew was the same for the whole job and couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating to our questions. The quality of craftsmanship is excellent, from beveled edges on exposed boards to fitting the pergola onto the corner of the house perfectly.

And let me tell you, this deck is as sturdy as an NFL linebacker on steroids. I don’t know what the weight rating is, but it has an intense foundation and reinforcements. If there’s ever a tornado coming at my house, I’m going out and getting under the deck–basement be damned!

I’m very pleased with the work of this company and felt that the price was reasonable and well worth it. I know we will be enjoying our new deck for decades. Or maybe… “deck”ades. Ha, ha.

We learned about them from another friend who had also gotten a new deck and sunroom constructed from them. Every person we worked with from Atlanta decking from sales to contracting to the actual construction was exceptional. Most importantly, we were impressed with their professionalism, their quality of work and attention to detail. They worked with us closely to bring our vision into a reality which included a gable roof, tongue and groove ceiling, screens and windows for the covered area of the deck, and a wall for the TV. The owner of the company, Dave, also visited us 2-3 times to ensure the project was going well. The project manager, Dana provided us with timely updates and was very responsive. The on-site lead, Marcos was quick to act to our needs and made sure we were happy with the layout. They kept their work area very clean at all times. Atlanta Decking took care of all the paperwork that had to be filed with the city and getting the inspections done. They provided several good references for getting our survey and paint job done too. We highly, highly, highly recommend them! Lastly, they were very transparent with the pricing and there were no surprises to deal with. What more can you ask for!

When we moved into our new home in 2007, we had two big dogs no fence and no access to our backyard. Atlanta Fence and Decking solved our problems! They built stairs from our kitchen deck to the yard and fenced our backyard. It was freezing cold in December or maybe the first part of January. We were so pleased with our new fence and stairs the whole experience was perfect. The crew worked so hard and finished quickly. When we decided to have a pergola built we called a couple places but no one could give us the design we wanted. When we thought to call Atlanta Decking & Fence we got our beautiful pergola. The end of 2022 our original fence needed to be replaced. We called again and got a new upgraded fence. After we got the new fence we realized the pergola needed a facelift. Another call to Atlanta Fence and Decking, the pergola was spruced up, the kitchen stairs were reinforced and a small fence on the side of the house was replaced. Since our first contact with Tim and Ashley in 2007 until now we have been happy, well-served customers! When the next project comes up Atlanta Decking will be our first call. It was basically two decks: one for the pool and one for the people. At one end it was 22′ off the ground. This is my second covered porch with Georgia Front Porch/Atlanta Decking & Fence. That in itself is testimony to the Tibbetts and their employees. The first porch totally changed the look of our standard 5 over 4, adding a usable area for socializing and dining. It wasn’t just built roughly to plan — it included small details like rounding over the edges and sanding out the stamped markings on the lumber. The crew also handled building an additional segment of sidewalk as well as electrical work around the deck. We had AD&F build a deck for us several years ago and it turned out beautiful. So, when it came to get a new fence we called on AD&F for the job. Quick for an estimate, designed a fence to match the detail on the gate we had previously installed, and tied all the exterior wood together in a fabulous design. AD&F is not necessarily the cheapest out there, but they are reliable & dependable, do the work when they say they will, provide a quality finished project, and best of all, they offer suggestions and options. Others we have tried dealing with in the past will price or do what we want, but don’t offer up any options…. Example – when we built the deck we knew we wanted iron pickets, AD&F came back and offered the suggestion of using copper plumbing pipe – more cost effective and the weathering and patina of it is absolutely amazing. And years later, when we had an issue with the handrail, Dave came back out and replaced the top rail, no questions asked and no charge. Great to work with an honest company that does what they say they are going to do.

These guys are great. I met with Rod at my home to go over my plans. He suggested some changes from my plans which came out very nice. Marco and his team showed up the day we planned, and knocked out the project in 5 days. Afterwards, production members from their team followed up and came out on site to verify all went well. Very nice crew and great craftsmanship. In my plans I wanted to install a ceiling mount for my TV but I was concerned about the weight since we were using cedar wood. Marco went out of his way and installed extra support inside my ceiling for my TV. I would definitely recommend these guys for your project.

We had a 45 sq ft pressure-treated pine deck added on to a second story great room. From start to finish, the process was seamless. The design of the deck was exactly what we wanted and Rod actually talked us out of a few options that would have increased the expense. Initially, the project was scheduled to be completed in late December, but the crew and management worked their butts off to get it done before our Christmas party on the 13th. Atlanta Decking and Fence did two jobs for us: a new deck and porch in the spring of 2014, and recently a new corral board fence. They did a great job on both services. They were the low bidder on the deck and we were very happy with the quality of work and the personal care. The deck and porch turned out beautifully and drew many compliments from the neighbors. This week we had them install a corral board (horse) fence with aluminum gate on a sloped, and rather difficult, yard. Again, the price was very fair and the work product appears to be excellent. We called multiple companies when we decided we wanted to add stairs off of our existing deck that came off of the main floor above our exposed basement, and wanted a ground level deck added as well. I almost held my breath waiting for the quote the next day because the ideas Dave, the owner, had blown me away. I was sure it would be cost prohibitive. It amazed me at how affordable it actually was. The process was a joy, they are such professionals who take great pride in their work. We actually had them come back and do a fence and a timber staircase for us a year later. This past summer we had our main level deck covered with the coolest roof made from reclaimed horse fencing. I can’t say enough about those Eze-Breeze windows — one of our favorite features of the porch! I love them so much!
