With winter just around the corner, now is a good time to consider ways to help you enjoy your outdoor living space despite chilly temperatures.

1. Outdoor Fireplaces – Outdoor fireplaces offer a focal point as a central feature of your back yard. Not surprisingly, outdoor fireplaces have both wood-burning and gas options. Wood-burning fireplaces typically have a more authentic look as a true masonry fireplace but gas can generate more reliable heat and eliminate the need to store wood. Other heating fixtures you might consider are chimineas and fire pits.

2. Heat Lamps – Electric or built-in gas heat lamps are relatively inexpensive and offer several advantages. Electric models can be installed flush to a ceiling which makes them virtually unnoticeable until you want to warm things up! They are reliable and can generate strong heat output. Gas heat lamps are bulkier than electric but they give off superior heat at a higher level of efficiency.

3. Eze-Breeze™ & Window Porches – Three season Eze-Breeze vinyl windows and traditional glass keep back porches nice and cozy most of the year. And since our customers claim a new back porch is their favorite room in the house, why not ensure they’re comfortable? Coupled with a built-in fireplace, your porch becomes a space you can enjoy practically year-round. Or, simply add a heat lamp or ceiling mounted heaters for the warmth you need when you need it.

4. Lighting – Add metaphorical warmth to your deck or porch with lighting like bright seasonal lanterns or string lights. Then complete the picture with woolen blankets and comfortable, flannel pillows that says why our cleaning service is awesome.
