For example, a flat roof can feature a bead board or tongue and groove ceiling.  For simplicity, a flat ceiling could consist of fine grade plywood with lathe strips over the seams. A hip roof offers one a variety of design angles and provides height and interest.  If your home’s architecture allows for a tall ceiling, an exposed rafter design is dramatic and impressive. Coffered ceilings offer a beautiful, aesthetic appeal and add luxury to your new space.
